What type of skills can you build through reading?
Q. Whether household skills, to social skills, What skills can you develop through reading? Can you develop skills of cleaning or mechanical or cooking by reading a book? Suggestions?
Asked by notthatjolie1 - Wed Dec 27 17:44:59 2006 - - 7 Answers - 1 Comments

A. Literacy is the skill you can develop through reading...which is maybe one of the most important skills to have. You can not develop any of the other skills you mention through reading...but you can gain knowledge and understanding on all those subjects by reading. You then have to practice what you learned through reading to develop skills.

Q. When you cheer lead what are some major skills you have to have? What are some tips to learn these skills in 5 months?

A. I have a lot of experience in this, so maybe I can help! Usually, cheerleaders need to be physically fit (coaches tend to make their cheerleaders run, weight train, do push ups, etc.), be able to execute proper jumps and tumbling, not be afraid to cheer and yell, and use proper hand motions. Here are some tips: If you want to be ready in 5 months, here is where you need to start: Make sure you do straddle stretches. Sit with your legs spread as far as they can before it hurts. Reach to one of your feet until it hurts a little, count to ten, and then go to the middle and do the same thing, and the other foot as well. Now, the next good stretch is sitting on your butt, feet straight out in front of you. Reach for your toes and count to… [cont.]

How good are the martial arts and shooting skills you obtain from marine bootcamp?
Q. What is meant by this is how good are these skills with the recruits once they leave bootcamp. Everything taught to a person takes time. Do a recruit leave bootcamp with top notch skills? Or like every skill taught in this world; they learn the basics and it is up to the individual to embrace it and take the effort to perfect the skills you've learned there after?

A. As far as the rifle qual you will be very good at hitting a target at 500 meters..The USMC boot camp rifle qualification is the best..You can not graduate until you qualify.. As far as the martial arts..Its just basic stuff..Its up to you to pursue this after boot camp or you will train every so often in the FMF... With constant practice comes perfection and Marines are either fighting in wars or practicing.

Are the skills in Mabinogi continuous or different?
Q. I am playing Mabinogi, G1. I am trying to boost my combat skills first. Does G2, 3, and so on, continue these skills or do they have different skills or do they start over? Should I max my skills out or not worry so much?
Asked by William P - Sun Aug 23 15:35:53 2009 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments

A. Don't worry, your skills will remain throughout the game. As far as I understand it, "G1", "G2", etc, just refer to storyline quests, and are all within the main game, so once you finish one and start another your skill rank will stay the same.
